Bea Alonzo and James Reid print keepsakes

In this digital age, the search for “ forever” is everyone’s shout-out, properly hash-tagged, of course.

But, “forever” really boils down to that which matters most, the precious life moments that need to be captured, printed, preserved, and kept in one’s wallet, the family album, or in the case of first-time moms, in a baby picture book.

In recent years, instax cameras have evolved from something cool, hip, and fun into a must-have. It has edged its way into the center of all things family and dear, an essential partner to capture all moments held close to the heart.

It could be that perfect vacation, perhaps a day or two in Iloilo in time for the Dinagyang Festival in late January. Or it could be a family dinner to celebrate a young daughter’s good grades.

Special moments abound and they happen fast. It is best to capture them with an instax and revel at the printed snaps right there and then. One of the best things about instax prints is that they are waterproof and they will not fade.

Even stars like James Reid and Bea Alonzo, Fujifilm Philippines brand ambassadors, are great fans of the instax. Along with her mirrorless cameras for snaps that can be readily transferred from camera to phone to post on her social media accounts, Bea also makes sure to take her instax with her when she travels.

The beautiful ABS-CBN star also needs her instax when she hosts get-togethers for friends and family. “The prints also serve as a perfect give-away after the party,” Bea shares.

James, for his part, believes that instax prints are a proof of his love for friends, family, and reel and real life sweetheart Nadine Lustre. “It’s nice to have these mementos that you can keep for a long time,” shares James.

The year has just begun so it is best to start it with a dash of love and an ounce of hope and positivity. All precious moments should be preserved since these occasions, these milestones, are fleeting. A moment gone is gone forever but instax prints will always be there – a physical evidence of precious times shared and important occasions celebrated. In an age when we tend to use a lot of words, and type them on our mobile phones in record speed to show our love, there is a more tangible way of proving it. When you love someone, make sure that you have an instax photo of that person and yourself together; when a great moment in time stood still and was captured forever.
