The mother of two was greeted with a bouquet of flowers from 8-year-old Isabelle, whose brother Luke, 6, is currently staying at Evalina Hospital. She rocked a royal blue suit for the moving event.

She met residents Dion and Danielle, whose 8-month-old daughter Mia has been in the children’s hospital for seven months. She also greeted baby Jack who was born with half a heart and had to have multiple procedures. Jack’s family lives in Scotland and is able to stay near him thanks to the temporary housing.

When she asked one young resident what his favorite cartoon was, he adorably replied, “Lightning McQueen! He goes so fast.”

It’s been a busy week of events for Middleton, who attended the UK-India Year of Culture 2017 reception on Monday.
