The journey is over for Gazini Ganados in Miss Universe as she failed to crack the pageant’s Top 10 on Monday
The Filipina beauty queen failed to
earn a back-to-back win for the Philippines, after reigning Miss Universe Catriona Gray's win last year. Miss Universe and be the fifth titleholder after Catriona Gray, Pia Wurtzbach (2015), Margie Moran (1973), and Gloria Diaz (1969).
The candidates who made it to the Top 10 include:

The 23-year-old Filipina beauty queen shed light on her advocacy on elderly care during the 15-second speech given to the Top 20 semi finalists.
The world is aging and my grandparents raised me and I've worked in an organization that was supporting for elderly care. I learned then, I realized that there's this stigma between ageism, poverty, exclusivity and invisibility. It is the rightful for us that they are the ones who paved the way for us and we should reciprocate that love and no one should be left behind.
Ganados was hoping for a back-to-back win for the country in Miss Universe and be the fifth titleholder after Catriona Gray, Pia Wurtzbach (2015), Margie Moran (1973), and Gloria Diaz (1969).
As of writing, the Miss Universe 2019 coronation night is still ongoing in Atlanta, Georgia.
