Our last visit to the DC Extended Universe was in Justice League, which received mixed reviews and ultimately failed to impress at the box office. But now the superhero franchise is entering a new era, which is being kicked off by Aquaman, featuring Jason Momoa reprising Arthur Curry. Back in August, it was rumored that Aquaman test screenings were being met with positive reception. But now, with a month to go until it hits theaters, critics are giving their social media reactions to Aquaman, and it looks like the DCEU has a hit on its hands.

The movie theater offerings, for the most part, did not disappoint this past holiday weekend. Thanks to high-performing movies like Ralph Breaks the Internet and Creed II, this was one of the highest grossing Thanksgiving weekends in recent memory. However, amid all the positive buzz, you may have completely missed that fact that the new Robin Hood opened this weekend as well. The movie was dead on arrival, barely sending out a pulse to audiences. So, Hollywood, can we please finally admit that it's time to stop with the Robin Hood movies?

This time last week, actor Callum Turner was in New York City, having flown there from L.A. to promote his new movie, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. Shortly thereafter, he landed in Paris, then London and finally in Madrid, where ET spoke with the only slightly jetlagged Brit. "I feel good now," he says of the global press tour, which included one particularly surreal memory: "All my family clamoring for Johnny Depp to get a photo at the premiere party was a heart-in-mouth moment."

If you need more evidence that the change of director for the next installment in the Transformers franchise could make all the difference, look no further than this new clip from the upcoming Bumblebee, which shows the titular Autobot on the run from John Cena’s Agent Burns and his team.

Granted, there’s only so much you can glean from less than thirty seconds of action footage, but after five movies of confusing and overblown spectacle courtesy of Michael Bay, this relatively coherent and clutter-free chase sequence suggests that Travis Knight won’t be bringing us more of the same wearying onslaught of visual noise. You can watch the clip below in full confidence that you’ll have zero trouble working out which CGI robot is which.

The latest installment in the Fantastic Beasts franchise, The Crimes of Grindelwald, takes Harry Potter fans on another thrilling adventure through the 1920s wizarding world -- trading in New York City for Paris as Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) and his magical menagerie embark on a mission from Albus Dumbledore himself (Jude Law, stepping into the role as a dapper young Hogwarts instructor) to stop a rising dark wizard from conquering the Muggle population.

From the producers of Fast & Furious and London Has Fallen comes an action thriller set deep under the Arctic Ocean, Hunter Killer.

Starring Gerard Butler, the movie opened on Wednesday, Oct. 31, in Philippine theaters, proudly presented by VIVA International Pictures and MVP Entertainment.
