Cancer is being conquered and may even be eliminated thanks to Genomics. Scientists and clinicians can now “personalize” medicine – allowing for disease prediction, prevention and treatment tailored to each patient’s unique genetic makeup. Genomics is the field of science that studies an organism’s entire genome or DNA sequence. Genomics analyzes the relationship between genetics and traits, and uses the data to answer scientific questions and solve practical problems, explains Jeffrey J. Seitz, founder of PHIX Genomics Inc.

“ My body is going to be 62 on January 12, 2018,” declares Grandmaster Datu Shishir Inocalla, 9th degree Grandmaster of Arnis Maharlika, a school and society for Filipino Martial Arts. Shishir continues, “My heart will be 26 and my spirit will be 266 on my next birthday.”

Shishir does not look his age. There are 40 year olds who even look older than him. What is his secret? Not only is he a grandmaster martial arts practitioner and mentor, he also believes in a healthy mind and spirit in a strong and healthy body. He smiles a lot. Smiling is one of the most potent natural medicine in the world.

Grandmaster Shishir  won the light heavyweight martial arts championship held in Ontario, Canada in 1973. He was featured in the blackbelt magazine in North America. Inocalla was  bestowed  grandmaster by the Grandmaster Sokeship Council in Florida, USA in 2005.

GM Shishir Inocalla founded the Maharlika Institute of Arnis (Filipino Martial Arts). Arnis involves the use of a pair of wooden sticks almost like “chako,” a Chinese or Japanese martial arts weapon. Shishir has over 40 years of mind, body and spirit training and experience.

Shishir has also incorporated his holistic martial arts approach to help professional  golfers improve their game as well as their confidence levels. When Michelle Wei, a professional golfer was in her doldrums period in the early 2000, GM Shishir helped her analyze what was wrong and GM righted her lost ship.

Shishir was the mind and body wellness trainer for Canyon Ranch Florida and the Disney Celebration Fitness and World Headquarters of David Leadbetter Golf Academy since 2003 to 2011. Professional golfers like Wei, Julieta Granada, Sandra Gall, Mu Hu and the Leadbetter family also trained. Whoever wanted a better swing and to have that “birdie” mode came to GM Datu Shishir.

There are only 6 people named Datu(tribe chieftain) by the late martial arts impresario Remy Pressas. Shishir was one of them. True to his rank as Datu, Shishir is currently developing his Inocalla family mountain and ocean resort. He is developing eco tourism, sports and wellness centres, martial arts learning centre in Paracale, Camarines Norte. He also brought some aetas(natives) to live in his farm.

“The oldest man is over 200,” says Shishir. He believes that “our body can live to 165 years if you eat, think, feel and live right.” GM Shishir has been a Vegan for a long time. He does not drink alcohol. He is like Benjamin Buttons (the movie character) who ages in reverse. The higher his age number goes, the younger he becomes.
