More funds for CHARITY.  To keep up with its mandate, PCSO should raise more funds for Charity. The new PCSO Board, headed by Chairman Jose Jorge Corpuz together with General Manager Alexander Balutan, is committed to raise more funds to give more charity projects and services to the Filipino people.

On Monday, October 3, 2016, during the honoring of the flag, Chairman Corpuz announced that the Small Town Lottery or STL is open franchise nationwide. Apart from the PCSO fund-generating products like lottery, Sweepstakes and KENO, the SMALL TOWN LOTTERY or STL is also a potential game product expected to augment PCSO income. Opening the franchise of STL countrywide will mean a bigger income not only for PCSO but for the government as well. During its Board Meeting on September 28, 2016, the Board approved the market expansion of Small Town Lottery or STL thereby resuming the processing of new application for PCSO STL. Previous STL applicants are also required to submit new application. The move is also in line with the declaration of President Rodrigo Duterte that his government will eliminate illegal gambling.

Deadline of application is on October 31, 2016.
