In celebration of its 60th year, Canadian Manufacturing takes part in global efforts to go green with its first eco-friendly line.

The local bed and bath company, led by president Hiro Asandas, sales director Chand Daryani, and managing director Ravi Daryanni, has recently launched its Bamboo collection in partnership with SM Home.

Bamboo is a great alternative to many conventional materials due to its rapid growth rate and self-regeneration. It also requires little to no fertilizers or pesticides.

Canadian Manufacturing utilizes bamboo in its cotton sheets, resulting in breathable, anti-microbial, and smooth as silk feel at less the cost.

The bamboo cotton sheets are suitable for those with sensitive skin. They also boast an odor-protection feature.

Another notable quality of bamboo sheets is the thermo-control feature that’s perfect for the Philippine weather. It’s available in five elegant colors.

In addition to bamboo sheets, Canadian Manufacturing also rolled out its waterproof mattress and pillow protectors which protect from spills, stains, and dust mites.

In keeping with its environment-friendly efforts, the aforementioned products come in eco-friendly fabric packaging and cartons.

The company has also partnered with Haribon Foundation to aid its biodiversity conservation programs. Proceeds of the purchase will go to the Adopt-a-Seedling program of the foundation.

Canadian’s Bamboo collection is available at the SM Home section in SM Store Aura and soon to be available in selected SM Stores.
