The search for Ms. Tacloban 2018 began as the city opened applications for ladies ages 18 to 25 years old.

Ms. Tacloban is one of the highlights of Tacloban’s colorful and meaningful month-long annual Sangyaw Festival in June.

“The search promotes Tacloban as the home of extraordinary, beautiful and witty women with a cause. Ms. Tacloban 2018 will be Tacloban’s Ambassador of Goodwill and will be reigning for a year,” said Tacloban City Mayor Cristina G. Romualdez.

Single ladies who are certified residents of the city, Filipino citizens, are 5’5” up in height, preferably from an educational institution of the city, with exemplary character, no questionable reputation and has not given birth, are invited to join the search. Application forms are available at the City Tourism Office at Plaza Rizal.

The chosen ladies will compete during the pre-pageant and the grand coronation night.
