Mayor Mel Aguilar recently congratulated the winners of 2017 Gawad Sikhay of the Division of City Schools-Las Piñas.

Gawad Sikhay recognizes the outstanding services of school administrators, teachers, and non-teaching staff of Department of Education-Las Piñas. The awarding coincided with the DepEd’s celebration of National Teachers’ Month.

The 2017 Gawad Sikhay winners are Carlos Alexander S. Rigon (Golden Acres National High School) for the School Head Category, Lester John A. Cajes (Las Piñas National High School) for the Junior High Category, Sheena D. Alonzo (Pamplona Central Elementary School) for the Elementary Level Category, Nilo D. Magada II (Pulanlupa Elementary School – Camella Annex) for the Alternative Learning System (ALS) Category, and Marivic J. Guevarra (Las Piñas Central Elementary School) for the Non-Teaching Personnel Category.
