VANCOUVER, CANADA - Multi-awarded Filipino hip-hop artist GLOC 9 will fire up the Massey Theater this weekend in New Westminster (a suburb of Vancouver), British Columbia, Canada.

GLOC 9, who is Aristotle Pollisco offstage, will jam with Jona Viray interpreting Original Pilipino Music and his very own rap masterpieces. Viray was the first runner up in Birit Bulilit and Pinoy Pop Superstar of GMA.

Comedian and singer Kakai Bautista, as well as local artists from Vancouver, will also jam with GLOC 9.

GLOC 9 has accomplished the rare feat of winning an award for every album he produced. The highly celebrated Filipino rap artist spins words into poetry about social injustice, rising above poverty and patriotism, earning him an acclaim from the late King of Rap Francis Magalona who described him as “the blacksmith of words and letters and a true Filipino poet.”

Joseph Cramp of the Fantastic Five Productions could not even compare GLOC 9 with Eminem. He says, “GLOC 9’s music and poetry are just so wholesome that grade schoolers are recommended to listen to and learn from his rap music.”

JJ Sarmiento, one of the producers of the concert, is a big fan of GLOC 9 since he was 11 years old. ETONLINE MANILA EXCLUSIVE
