In the near future, we are positive we are still going to witness   The Dawn Treinta Y Cinco(35) Canadian Tour. We love to see the current members back to perform again but don’t bet on that. There have been movement of band members since their beginning in the 80s. This is so because The Dawn Band is forever.

Teddy Diaz founded the Dawn in 1985. He was the lead singer, band leader and composer. Only a couple of years of successful performances Teddy was stabbed to death by two guys high on drugs and alcohol. The Dawn Band had a setback but did not disappear. They found another leader in Jett Pangan. Jett is the lead vocalist as well as composer.

In 1994 however, Jett left the Band and formed the Jett Pangan Group. But the Dawn Band is not going to go away. In 1999, they reunited as The Dawn Band.

“ We love to create new materials for our dear fans,” declares Jett Pangan. Jett continues, “We know we are going to be here for a long time because our fans love our songs and music.”

The other band members are Francis Reyes, guitar; JB Jun Boy, drums; Mon Legaspi, guitar; Sancho, guitar.

In 2015, The Dawn Band won the Dangal ng Musikang Pilipino given  by the 2015 Aliw Awards. Some of their popular albums are Tulad Ng Dati, Harapin, I Stand With You and several more through the years.

Some of their popular songs are Prodigal Sun and Iisang Bangka.

The Dawn will be performing in Winnepeg, Saskatchewan, Calgary, Edmonton, Sunshine Coast and the grand finale at the Michael J. Fox in Burnaby on August 27.

AGL Productions is producing the show. Arnel Egido and Sherwynn Aller are the producers and promoters.
