FAR Eastern University-Diliman made short work of University of Santo Tomas, 25-16, 30-28, 25-22, to remain spotless in the UAAP Season 82 Boys' Volleyball tournament at the Blue Eagle Gym Sunday.

Rans Cajolo led the Baby Tamaraws' onslaught with 20 points on 16 spikes and four blocks, Jerold Talisayan provided 16 points and nine receptions while France Racaza added 12 points, nine receptions and six digs.

"Sinabi ko lang sa mga bata na magpakundisyon nang maayos kasi iba na ang labanan dito sa second round, lahat ng mga kalaban namin pinaghahandaan kami, hihigtan pa namin yung paghahanda nila," coach Rjhay Del Rosario said after FEU won its seventh consecutive match.

Rookie Jay Rack Dela Noche was the lone bright spot for the Tiger Cubs. with 12 points as Rey de Vega was held to six points.

UST dropped to 5-3.

In the other matches, National University-Nazareth School dispatched De La Salle-Zobel, 25-20, 25-19, 26-24, while Adamson University turned back Ateneo, 25-20, 25-22, 25-18.

Michael Fortuna and Reymart Reyes punched in 10 points apiece with the latter adding 11 excellent receptions as the Bullpups tied the Baby Falcons in fourth place with 4-4 card.

Arvin Bandola had six of NU's 12 blocks as he finished with eight points while Michaelo Buddin contributed seven markers off four spikes and three service aces.

Jefferson Marapoc scored all but one of his 14 points from spikes, team captain John Gay added nine markers, and setter Lourenz Domingo dished out 21 excellent sets and four points for the Baby Falcons.

Ateneo dropped its fourth straight game and slid to 1-7 overall while De La Salle-Zobel remained winless in eight matches.
