Hinugot ng TNT ang buenamanong pasada sa PBA Philippine Cup Finals sa isang lopsided na ratsada na inumpisahan sa 20-2 bomba at masustena ang momentum diretso sa 88-70 panalo kontra sa nasoprpresang Magnolia, Miyerkules ng gabi sa DHVSU Gym sa Bacolor, Pampanga.
Kahit sa dalawang araw na pahinga matapos ang kanilang semifinal disposal sa San Miguel Beer, puno pa rin ng enerhiya at intensidad ang Tropang Giga para bulabugin ang Hotshots na nagmistulang hilahod at kinalawang mula sa apat na araw na pagninilay.
Praktikal na sa kabuuan ng ikatlong kanto ang pagbomba ng Tropang Giga na hinaplit ang kanilang kalamangan sa higit 30 puntos.
"This is already our ninth game in the playoffs, and we've been in playoff mode since the Ginebra game in the quarters. Today was no different, we wanted our focus, our energy, our preparation to be according to the rhythm we've established," litanya ni TNT coach Chot Reyes.
