San Miguel Beer's Chris Ross was phenomenal in the Beermen's 99-88 win over Ginebra in Game 3 of the PBA Philippine Cup Finals at Araneta last night.

Chris had 24 pts (8 in the 4th period where SMB outscored Ginebra, 30-22) 4 rebs 8 assts. Jun Mar Fajardo, however, was named Best Player with 17 pts 18 rebs 3 assts as he led the charge down the stretch. Ginebra was on top 88-87 with 4 minutes left then SMB dropped a 12-0 bomb to end it. Ginebra missed its last 7 shots including 4 from beyond the arc.

ROUTED in the series-opener, the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel Kings levelled their best-of-seven PBA Philippine Cup finals joust with the San Miguel Beermen with a 124-118 overtime win in Game Two last night in Lucena City.

Shot the lights out early, particularly in the second quarter, the Kings went for the separation and held on to avenge their 109-82 defeat in Game One and reduce the finals series to a best-of-five affair.
