Modern-day Dutch kickboxing icon Nieky Holzken and bantamweight MMA phenom Stephen Loman are gearing up for ONE Championship’s 10-year anniversary show, ONE X, this Saturday, 26 March.

At the event in Singapore, Holzken will square off against Sinsamut Klinmee in a lightweight Muay Thai clash and Loman will collide with Japanese veteran Shoko Sato in a bantamweight mixed martial arts contest.

Holzken is considered by many as a living legend in the sport of kickboxing.

The man known as “The Natural” is a four-time Glory Kickboxing World Champion and former two-time ONE World Title challenger who owns 94 wins. The last time Holzken stepped into the Circle, he finished fellow legend John Wayne Parr via second-round TKO in a Muay Thai battle at “ONE on TNT III” last year.

The Dutch hard-hitter will make his return against Sinsamut, a fierce 25-year-old striker who trains alongside ONE stars Mehdi Zatout, Alaverdi Ramazanov, and Samy Sana at Venum Training Camp Thailand.

After garnering 78 victories in competitions all throughout the world, Sinsamut has earned his way onto the global stage and could make an instant impact in the division’s ranks by upsetting Holzken.

Loman Vs. Sato: A Pivotal Bantamweight Contest
In addition to the riveting Nieky Holzken-Sinsamut Klinmee Muay Thai showdown, fans will be treated to a thrilling MMA fight between #3-ranked bantamweight contender Stephen Loman and Shoko Sato.

Loman, who trains out of the famed Team Lakay gym in Baguio City, owns a 15-2 professional record and is riding a nine-fight winning streak. The Filipino rising star impressed in his promotional debut last December, where he knocked out Yusup Saadulaev in the first round.

“The Sniper” will look to extend his streak and keep his ONE slate clean on 26 March, but he’ll need to defeat the well-rounded Japanese veteran to do so – and that will not be an easy task.

Sato, who fell out of the rankings following a loss to Fabricio Andrade in 2021, holds a 32-14-2 (1 NC) professional record. The Tokyo-based fighter will bring valuable experience and immense hunger into the matchup, and should he emerge victorious with a stellar performance, he would conceivably take Loman’s spot in the rankings.

Both Holzken-Sinsamut and Loman-Sato will appear on ONE X: Part I. Stay tuned to onefc.com for more details about the ONE X extravaganza. (One Championship)
