ONE Championship promised a massive return to the Philippines, and the organization has kept its promise.  ONE Fight Night 5 just got a whole lot more exciting after the announcement that two-division king Reinier “The Dutch Knight” De Ridder will defend his ONE Light Heavyweight World Title against ONE Interim Heavyweight World Champion Anatoly “Sladkiy” Malykhin at the Mall of Asia Arena in the Philippines on 3 December.

ONE Championship has four massive shows this November and December, and Team Lakay will feature in two of them.

Bantamweight contenders Stephen Loman and Kevin Belingon are scheduled for ONE Fight Night 4: Abbasov vs. Lee on November 19 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium while their Team Lakay stablemates will close out the year in December.

Team Gravity is starting to turn the tide in “Globe Presents ONE Warrior Series Philippines.” The squad finally had its first winning run after four episodes on the show.

The group, which is coached by former ONE Flyweight World Champion Geje “Gravity” Eustaquio, saw no eliminations this week because it was Team Passion’s JM Guntayon who was given the axe following three sizzling elimination sparring matches.

“I felt like I was the one that was going to be eliminated,” Guntayon said. “I really prepared myself. I miss my family. There’s a sense of loss after dropping out of the competition, but I guess that’s my weakness. I don’t like being away from my loved ones.”

Ralf Francisco bids farewell, recalls a time a young Joshua Pacio asked him for a photo

Team Gravity, which already lost Christian Laurio in the first episode, was dealt with another difficult hand at the end of Episode 2.

Ralf Francisco, who was one of the Team Gravity members who struggled in Bineng Road, took on Team Passion’s Raymund Ortega one of the two sparring matches of Episode 2.
