The Professional Fighters League (PFL), the fastest growing and most innovative sports league, today announced that sports industry veteran Nicole Duva will join the company’s executive team as Director of Legal and Business Affairs.

In her new role, Duva will continue to spearhead the organization’s COVID-19 compliance efforts, Commission relations as well as other legal and operational support needs to ensure the safety of the fighters and employees during their stay in Atlantic City, NJ.
Duva joins PFL after a decade spent working at the highest levels of combat sports, rising from in-house counsel to Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel at Main Events, the storied boxing promotion company founded by her late father, Dan Duva. While at the company, Duva learned all of the ins-and-outs of promoting combat sports, working with fighters, venues, media, and broadcast partners around the world.
“I’m thrilled to be joining such an innovative and exciting organization such as the Professional Fighters League,” said Duva. “The PFL has truly redefined MMA and continues to expand its efforts in more ways than one. With its rapidly-growing business, name brand partners, world class talent and continued global expansion efforts, I am eager to get started.”
While at Main Events, Duva worked hand-in-hand with professional athlete clients and corporate partners to balance competing demands, ensuring satisfaction of all parties in connection with live televised events involving multiple stakeholders and contractors.
“Nicole brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the PFL and I am excited to have her join our family,” said Professional Fighters League CEO, Peter Murray. “She has proven to be an invaluable leader in the combat sports arena throughout her career. Adding such an impactful leader to our organization would not have been possible without the guidance of EVP of Business Affairs and General Counsel Jim Bramson, and I look forward to working with Nicole.
With the addition of world-class talent – from elite fighters to established business executives – and partnering with industry-leading brands such as Anheuser-Busch InBev, GEICO, CarParts.com and Socios, the PFL continues to accelerate its global expansion. Sports fans across more than 160 countries around world will be able to tune in to PFL 4 and witness the highly anticipated debut of Claressa Shields on June 10 in Atlantic City, NJ.
