BOTTOM LINE: Denver seeks to keep its five-game win streak alive when the Nuggets take on Minnesota.

The Timberwolves are 6-4 against the rest of their division. Minnesota ranks eighth in the Western Conference in rebounding with 44.9 rebounds. Karl-Anthony Towns paces the Timberwolves with 9.4 boards.

The Nuggets are 17-14 in conference play. Denver has a 14-14 record against opponents above .500.

The teams square off for the third time this season. The Timberwolves won 124-107 in the last matchup on Dec. 16. Anthony Edwards led the Timberwolves with 38 points, and Nikola Jokic led the Nuggets with 27 points.

TOP PERFORMERS: Towns is scoring 24.4 points per game with 9.4 rebounds and 3.9 assists for the Timberwolves. Edwards is averaging 24.2 points and 3.9 rebounds while shooting 45.6% over the past 10 games for Minnesota.
