    IM elect Roel Abelgas bags second title, tops Pretty Zada online chess

    International Master elect and Fide Master Roel Abelgas continued his winning ways after he topped the Pretty Zada dubbed as Bugbugan ni Oabe 3 bullet online chess tournament late Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at lichess.org.


    Abelgas, who currently lives in Dasmarinas City, Cavite, imposed his will from start to finish and ended up with 118 points to book his second title after winning the Ivan Cu cup blitz tournament Wednesday afternoon.
    Abelgas, the pride of rep. Elpidio Barzaga, finished ahead of a strong field that drew participation of 88 woodpushers in the event backed up by Mc Daniel Ebao.
     Sandrejo Celso Jr.took second with 111 points. In third place is Errenz Calitisin who totes 99 points.
    Fide Master Jony Habla came fourth with 94 points followed by fifth placer International Master Angelo Young with 88 points.-Marlon Bernardino-
