Nagpasalamat ang Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) sa Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) para sa kanilang tulong sa pag-alok ng mga pasilidad ng ahensiya sa sports, para sa paglaban ng pamahalaan kontra COVID-19 pandemic.
“We at DPWH has recognized your unwavering support for the conversion of the Ninoy Aquino Stadium and the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex facility as a designated quarantine facility for COVID-19 patients,” sa pahayag ni DPWH Undersecretary for UPMO Operations and Technical Services Emil Sadain sa liham ng DPWH sa
PSC.
Sa sulat na nakatukoy kay PSC Chairman William Ramirez, pinapurihan ni Usec. Sadain ang sports agency sa agad na pagresponde dahil sa kakulangan ng health facilities dulot ng pagdagsa ng mga pasyenteng nagkaroon ng COVID-19.
Angv DPWH official, na siya ring namuno sa Task Force on Augmentation of National and Local Healthcare Facilities ay hinangaan ang kooperasyon ng publiko at pribadong sektor.
“The combined efforts of public and private entities have helped in the swift implementation of the national and local healthcare facilities as one of your urgent measures in addressing the current health crisis,” paliwanag ni Sadain.
Bilang tugon, nagpasalamat din si PSC OIC Ramon Fernandez sa DPWH aa ngalan ni Ramirez at ng PSC Board at siniguro na ang DPWH ay magpapatuloy ang suporta ng ahensiya para labanan itong pandemya.
“We thank DPWH for trusting us and working with us. Rest assured that the PSC will always be supporting this fight against COVID-19 in ways we can," pahayag ni Fernandez.
Inihain ng PSC ang tatlong pangunahing pasilidad -- Ninoy Aquino Stadium (NAS), Rizal Memorial Coliseum (RMC), at Multi-Purpose Arena (MPA) sa PhilSports Complex -- nitong kaagahan ng taon at ipinormang “We Heal as One Centers.” (LP/PSC)
