GAB nagsumite na ng sports practice protocols sa IATF

MANILA – Nagsumite na ang Games and Amusements Board (GAB) na tinatawag na "new normal" protocols sa nga mga pag-eensayo para sa tatlong sports sa Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID).

Kinumpirma ni GAB Chairman Baham Mitra ang pagbabago sa Philippine News Agency (PNA) noong Miyerkoles ng gabi.

"We finished presenting to them by around 3:30 [p.m.]," ani Mitra.

Ang tatlong sports na inihayag ang kanilang protocols ay ang basketball, football, at boxing.

Ang Philippine Basketball Association (PBA), Philippines Football League (PFL), at Chooks-To-Go Pilipinas 3x3 ay isinulat na ang kani-kanilang respektibong protocols nung nakaraang buwan sa pag -asang ang kanilang member clubs ay makakabalik na sa praktis sa lalong madaling panahon, unang hakbang sa kanilang masimulan o maipagpatuloy na ang kanilang season sa panahon ng pandemya.

Patungkol sa boxing, inilantad ni Mitra na maging ang GAB ay gumawa ng protocols na may ilang karagdagang panuntunan mula sa Omega at Elorde Boxing Gyms.

Gayunman, aniya ang Department of Health (DOH) ay nanatiling humahadlang sa GAB para sa muling pagbubukas ng ensayo sa boxing.

"Ayaw pa rin talaga ng DOH eh. Walang go signal," ani Mitra, bagamat aniya na patuloy silang nakikipag-ugnayan sa IATF para sa pagbabalik ng boxing kung saan bumalik na rin umano ang sports sa Estados Unidos. (LP/PNA)
