    Sportwriter's mom dies at 72

     
     
     Nelia Quiroz Bernardino, much known "Mama Bhe", mother of sportswriter Almario Marlon Bernardino Jr., died on Friday, October 25, 2019 after multiple organ failure.
     Nelia passed away at 9:50 p.m. at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Medical Center in San Fernando City, Pampanga.
     
    "She moved on peacefully, and with quiet gentleness all around her.We will miss you mom," said Almario Marlon, an online Arena Grandmaster (AGM), chess organizer and License chess instructor and arbiter of the World Chess Federation (FIDE).
     
    “It was her wish that we hold a short wake at Immaculate Conception Cathedral, 40 Lantana St., Cubao, Quezon City,” said Marinel.
     
    Nelia was survived by children Almario, Michael, Marinel and Anthony.
