PAL awards Carlos Yulo Mabuhay Miles for life!

PAL Holdings President and Chief Operating Officer Lucio C. Tan III and double Olympic Gold Medalist Carlos Yulo are all smiles during a courtesy visit held at the PAL Head Office in Pasay City yesterday, August 22.

Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) has awarded Filipino gymnast Carlos Yulo “Forever Flyer” status, as he is set to receive 150,000 Mabuhay Miles annually for life after bagging two gold medals in the recent Olympic Games.

Yulo will receive 150,000 Mabuhay Miles per year, the maximum that can be credited to a single account within a calendar year, which he may then use for flight tickets and other perks from the local carrier.

This comes after Yulo secured his second gold after scoring 15.166 points in the vault — 15.433 on his first pass, and 14.800 in the second. This is the country’s third gold medal to date in the Olympics. He earlier won gold in the men’s floor exercise.
