Pinuri ni Amateur Softball Association of the Philippines (ASAPHIL) President Jean Henri Lhuillier ang Cebuana Lhuillier-backed National Women's Softballl Team, RP Blu Girls matapos makopo ang slot sa World  Cup ng tumapos ng malakas na 4th placesa Asia Cup sa Incheon, Korea.

"I'm so proud with how our girls competed each game,  they went toe to toe with the best of Asia and they showed they deserve that World Cup slot",  sabi ni ASAPHIL President Jean Henri Lhuillier.
" We will now focus on preparing them for the World Cup and we will ensure that they get the proper training and exposure for that world class competition in July."  ani Lhuilier

Nabigo ang RP Blu Girls sa World Number 3 Chinese-Taipei sa battle for the bronze subalit nagbigay muna sila ng takot sa huli ng makuha ang 2 innings para sa 5-3 lead.
but not giving them a scare leading after 2 innings 5-3.

Nanalo ang Chinese-Taipei , 10-5, sa nasabing laban na ginanap sa Songdo LNG Stadium sa Incheon, South Korea nitong Sabado, Abril 8, 2023.
Tumapos ang Blu Girls sa group preliminary rounds ng 5-3 win-loss record.

"This competition showed that our team can compete with the beat of them especially this bronze medal match against World number 3 Chinese-Taipei. We were up by 2 after 2 innings. We just need to continue improving each day at training." sabi ni RP Blu Girls Coach Randy Dizer
Ang RP Blu Girls ay ka bracket ang host Italy,  Canda, New Zealand,  at Venezuala sa World Cup sa Hulyo.

Siyam na koponan ang naglaban sa Asia Cup na kinabibilangan ng World number 2 Japan, number 3 Chinese-Taipei, number 13 China, Number 30 South Korea, number 35 Philippines, number 42 Singapore,  Thailand, HongKong at India.
Naka abot ang Blu Girls sa World Cup pitong beses sa nakalipas at nagwagi ng lone bronze medal noong 1970.-Marlon Bernardino-
