Coun. Hero Bautista provides relief efforts for the victims of fire in Tatalon

Quezon City 4th District Councilor Hero Bautista deployed his team to provide relief efforts for victims of a fire that broke out last March 6. The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Public Information Office (PIO) said a fire broke out in a residential area at Caliraya Street, Barangay Tatalon, Quezon City on Sunday, march 6.

Firefighters battled the blaze for almost 12 hours before it was declared fire out at 2 AM. An estimated 50 families or 190 individuals lost their homes due to the blaze and had to be evacuated to Diosdado P. Macapagal Elementary School.

Bautista and his staff trooped to the evacuation center in the morning to distribute relief goods such as canned goods, rice, health kits and blankets. This was followed by a feeding program in the afternoon where evacuees were given piping hot bowls of arroz caldo. RMPANGILINAN
