QC Councilor provides free COVID-19 swab, antigen tests

Quezon City 4th District Councilor Hero Bautista will be deploying a medical truck that provides free RT-PCR swab and antigen tests to residents of 38 barangays in the city’s 4th district.

Amid the resurgence of COVID-19 cases in the city, Bautista’s medical truck offers to make COVID-19 testing safer and more accessible as residents do not need to travel far from their homes, and contend with expensive testing fees.

Interested blood donors in each barangay may also visit the medical truck as it also offers blood-letting services.

Health facilities in Quezon City will receive the blood that will be collected in order to replenish their supplies.

Quezon City recorded 11,999 active COVID-19 cases, 178,935 recoveries, and 1,632 deaths as of Friday, Jan. 7. RMP
