Sports and COVID-19 in PSC's Sports Summit

‘Sports and COVID-19’ takes the spotlight in the 8th session of the National Sports Summit 2021 (NSS), as the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) tap international orthopaedist and sports medicine Dr. Randolph Molo in the online lecture-forum this Thursday.

Molo, the current head of the PSC’s Medical Scientific Athletes Services (MSAS) Unit and an International Football Medicine and Doping Panel member of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) and Asian Football Confederation (AFC), is a fitting resource person on the topic having steered many successful sports exercises in this pandemic, including the on-going bubble training of our Olympic-bound national athletes.

National Training Director Marc Velasco said this is a timely topic to give attention to as "it would give ample, scientifically-backed guidance on how to continue our sports-life despite the health crisis."

The NSS has so far featured 7 sessions before this lecture of Molo since it started in January.
