    The Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) determines to partner and give its full support on the grassroots sports programs of various national sports associations for 2020 has started discussing this with the different sports bodies as they start a series of consultations on their budget requirements.

    The Philippine weightlifting team did not waste any of the national government’s funds released through the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) using it as inspiration to win 3 golds and 3 bronze medals at the Roma 2020 Weightlifting World Cup held in Pala Pellicone in Rome, Italy.

    The PSC gave P2.2 million budget for the airfare, accommodation, allowance and other related expenses of the 7 athletes and 4 officials who competed in the Rome competition, apart from the P1.7 million budget of Olympian Hidilyn Diaz’s core team.

    Art is king at the 13th Kannawidan Ylocos Festival as Ilocanos showcase their creativity in competitions such as On-the-Spot Visual Art, Comic Illustration, T-Shirt Design, Souvenir Design, and a tattoo expo. The festival that runs from January 28 to February 9 aims to encourage and recognize the artistry of the Ilocano people.

    Philippine para-athletes acknowledge the unprecedented support they are receiving from the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) as one of the major factors of their recent successes and inspiration to perform their best in the upcoming 10th ASEAN Para Games which will be hosted by the country from March 20 to 28.

    The Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) gathers known sports specialists and educators for a set of lecture-workshops in the 2020 National Sports Summit on February 27 to 28 at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City.

    “The employees are the heart and soul of this anniversary celebration,” declared Philippine Sports Commission Chairman William Ramirez as he addressed the employees at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum this Friday.

    The PSC is donating its anniversary budget to the victims of Mt. Taal's eruption. The celebration, simple as it seems was filled with heartfelt gratitude and melancholic remembrances of the past thirty years of the sports agency.

    Para powerlifting veteran Adeline Dumapong-Ancheta expressed gratitude to the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) for giving all-out support for her career throughout the years and supporting her for her ASEAN Para Games participation.

    The Philippine Sports Commission opened the doors of its newly-refurbished Philsports Complex for national para-athletes training for the 2020 Asean Para Games.

    “The renovations done in both Rizal Memorial and in Philsports are primarily for our elite athletes,” explained PSC Chairman William Ramirez.
