Rep. JB Bernos of Abra places a Php 1 million bounty on the head of the perpetrator of the La Paz bombing incident.
Bernos, who, along with his wife La Paz Mayor Menchie Bernos, was among the injured in the incident last Thursday, wants the still at-large bomber brought to justice to be held accountable for sowing terror in the peaceful festivities of the Abra town.
"We need this person alive, so that we may know his motives and of those behind this unsuccessful attempt on our lives," Bernos said.
"We are calling on our fellow Abreños and all people who may know the whereabouts of this person to help us in holding him responsible for the fear and terror he has sown, for those injured, and for the death of two brave policemen," Bernos continued.
The lawmaker addresses the perpetrator directly for being a heartless person who wishes to do more harm for a Province long marred with episodes of violence.
"You disrupted the peace and progress we are slowly building in Abra with a single act of terror. It is unfair for our constituents who have so longed desired these," Bernos remarked.
"Your days are numbered. Justice will see you soon," he ended.
