Campos wins 8th Jerick Pogi Bullet 2000 Arena online chess tourney

Manila---Former Rizal Technological University standout Eduardo Campos Jr. won the 8th Jerick Pogi Bullet 2000 and below Arena online chess tournament on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at the lichess.org.


Campos finished with 40 points in 14 games for a win rate of 86 percent and performance rating of 2190 to win the event organized by España Chess Club Manila that drew 35 players.
The online tournament had time control of two minutes plus one minute increment time control format and players must win as many games in 90 minutes of play according to tournament organizer engr. Ernie Fetisan Faeldonia, who is also the secretary-general of WKA (World Kickboxing Association)-Philippines the newest Kickboxing Organization.
Aron Pascual took the second spot with 36 points on 15 games and a win rate of 80 percent for a performance rating of 2195.
Meanwhile, the 14th edition of España Chess Club Manila Bullet Open Arena which participated by 80 players topped by Rommel Valdez with username Chessernap from Masbate City garnering a total of 58 points with 16 wins and 3 losses.
