The first ever Woman Fide Master (WFM) Sheerie Joy Lomibao-Beltran FIDE-Rated Rapid Chess Women's Open and Kiddies 14-years-old and below Inter School Individual Chess Championship will be staged on December 14 (Saturday) at the Open Kitchen, Rockwell Business Center-Sheridan, Highwayhills, Greenfields District in Mandaluyong City.

Tournament Manager Mr. Genghis K. Imperial said the one-day two division FIDE-Rated Rapid chess tournament (Women's Open and Kiddies 14-years-old and below Inter School Individual Chess Championship) sponsored by Woman Fide Master (WFM) Sheerie Joy Lomibao-Beltran and backed up by Ms. China Aurelio and Ms. Mimi Casas of Open Kitchen and Fortezza Travel and Tours will dangle a whopping P10,000 and trophy to the women's open champion. The second placer will go home with P6,000 and a trophy while the third placer will get P4,000 and trophy.

The rest of the Top 20 will receive P3,000 and medal for fourth, P2,000 and medal for fifth, P1,000 and medals for the 6th to 14th placers and P500 and medals for the 15th to 20th place.

Special awards will be given to Top Elementary, Top High School, Top College, Top PWD and Top Media Player where P500 and a medals goes while P2,000 plus medal will receive for Most Number of School entries (Best Coach).

"Mark your calendar chess enthusiasts and make the best move ever in this battle of the squares." said tournament director National Master (NM) Romeo Alcodia.

"We do this to promote chess in the grass-roots level and discover future chess talents," added NM Alcodia.

The Kiddies champion will take home P5,000 plus trophy and medal and brand new digital chess clock, the second placer will pocket P3,000 plus medal, the third placer will earn P2,000 plus medal, while fourth to fifth will receive P1,000 each plus medals and sixth to 20th place will get P500 plus medals.

Special awards will be given to Top Under 6, Top Under 8, Top Under 10 and Top Under 12 with P500 plus medals while P2,000 plus medal will receive for Most Number of School entries (Best Coach).

Registration fee both for women's open and kiddies 14 years old and below is P500 while On-Site Registration is P600 for the FIDE-Rated Rapid seven-round Swiss System tournament. Time control is 20 minutes plus 5 seconds delay mode.No Pooling of Prizes.
