MANILA---Tiklop si Boxing legend Sen. Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao matapos maka tikim ng dalawang pagkatalo sa kamay ni Billiard champion Efren "Bata" Reyes sa isang friendly over the board chess match na ginanap sa famous Billiard Hall sa Talumpong Street, Barangay Malamig sa Mandaluyong City nitong Lunes (October 25, 2021).

"Chess-toric moment only in the Philippines. World's only 8 Division Boxing Title Holder, Manny Pacquiao and World's greatest billiard player, Efren "Bata" Reyes belt it out - not in their respective fields - but in the 64-square Royal Game (Chess)." sabi ni Sydney, Australia based Ronald Manila, close confidante ni Sen.
International Billiards and Snooker Champion Marlon Manalo, 1st district councilor Mariz Manalo and Barangay chairman Cynthia Caluya hosted the said event.
Samantala ang bagong tatag na United Cue Artists Association of the Philippines (UCAAP) sa gaaby nina founding president Marlon Manalo, at secretary general Edgar Acaba kasama sina Efren "Bata" Reyes, Francisco "Django" Bustamante alongside Antonio "Nickoy" Lining at Roel Esquillo ay nagpahayag ng suporta sa boxing icon’s presidential run sa 2022.
“I am grateful to the world’s greatest and billiards legends Efren ‘Bata’ Reyes and Django Bustamante for expressing their support in my fight for the presidency,” sabi ni Pacquiao.
"It is an honor to be with the likes of Reyes and Bustamante in my vision to transform our country into a progressive, modern and corrupt-free nation."
"We will make sure that we continue to help our athletes even in our own capacity. Long live the Filipino athletes."
Nitong Oktubre 1, si Pacquiao ay nag file ng kanyang certificate of candidacy for president under the Probinsya Muna Development Initiative or Promdi, isa sa political organizations under ng MP3 Alliance.
