Jared “The Real Big Baby” Anderson, the undefeated heavyweight wrecking ball from Toledo, is coming home.
Anderson (14-0, 14 KOs) will formally announce his upcoming 10-round ESPN-televised main event at a hometown press conference TOMORROW, May 2 at 12 p.m. ET. Anderson’s main event debut will take place at Toledo’s 8,000-seat Huntington Center on Saturday, July 1. Joining Anderson at the press conference will be Hall of Fame Promoter/Top Rank Chairman Bob Arum, Toledo Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz, and Toledo City Councilwoman Vanice Williams.
Anderson has scored six straight knockouts in three rounds or less and is currently ranked seventh by the WBO and 11th by the WBA and WBO.
Anderson’s homecoming press conference will stream live on ESPN+ and Top Rank’s YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter channels.
