In the boys division, league-leading University of the East tries to stretch its undefeated run to eight matches against titleholder Far Eastern University-Diliman at 2 p.m., right after UST and UPIS take the floor at 12 noon.
Action resumes Sunday at the same San Marcelino venue as reigning champion National University Nazareth School and FEU-Diliman collide in the lone girls' match at 12 noon.
De La Salle-Zobel and Ateneo open hostilities in the boys' section at 10 a.m., while NUNS and Adamson collide at 2 p.m.
The Baby Tamaraws sit in second place in the girls division with a 5-1 record, while the Junior Tigresses and the Bullpups hold 4-2 and 3-3 slates, respectively.
The Junior Lady Spikers are running fifth at 2-4.
Trailing the Junior Warriors in the boys' side are the Bullpups, who have a 6-1 card in second spot, while the Baby Tamaraws and the Baby Falcons tote 5-2 and 4-3 marks, respectively.
Sitting outside the top four range are the Junior Golden Spikers, who have a 3-4 slate.
