Masaya ang Beach Volleyball Republic sa pagkakahalal ng isa sa kanilang founder na si Charo Soriano bilang Board Member ng bagong itinatag na volleyball association sa bansa- ang Philippine National Volleyball Federation Inc. (PNVFI).
“Admittedly, the road that paved way toward a united volleyball community had many pitfalls, but today is different - today is all about hope, unity, and commitment.” sambit ni Soriano sa pahayag.
Pinakabatang miyembro sa PNVFI Board, prinoklama si Soriano ng Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) sa eleksiyong idinaos sa East Ocean Seafood Restaurant sa Parañaque City nitong Lunes. Ang proud daughter ng Tuguegarao ang tagapagpaganap sa Beach Volleyball National Team program ng bansa sa nakaraang SEA Games 2019, pareho sa men’s at women’s teams na humugot ng Bronze.
"Everything that has made an impact in my life, from personal to professional experiences, has come from getting involved." ani Soriano. “It is truly such an honor to be part of the federation and to materialize our responsibility to make the dreams of the Filipino volleyball athletes come true. At the end of the day, it is my personal calling and mission to give back to the sport that taught me so much about life - on and off the court.”
Ang FIVB ay inaasahang opisyal na kikilalanin ang PNVFI sa world volleyball body's online world congress sa February 5-7.
