A champ vs. champ fight might be headed to Dallas’ American Airlines Center in September.

Another superfight might be going down later this year.

On Wednesday, UFC women’s featherweight champion Cris Cyborg said on Twitter that she has agreed to a fight against women’s bantamweight champion — and fellow Brazilian — Amanda Nunes at UFC 228. It doesn’t appear that Cyborg vs. Nunes is a done deal, but perhaps it’s one step closer to happening. Nunes has yet to comment on Cyborg’s tweet.

Tony Ferguson is willing to face either UFC lightweight champ Khabib Nurmagomedov or former titleholder Conor McGregor, but in an ideal world, he’d square off with “The Eagle” next.

Still recovering from a recent knee injury, Tony Ferguson wants to face current champ Khabib Nurmagomedov — not Conor McGregor — upon his return.

This was how historically bad Derrick Lewis and Francis Ngannou were at UFC 226.

Joe Rogan did not hold back on the quality of the UFC 226 co-main event between Derrick Lewis and Francis Ngannou. With much anticipation that we were about to see someone get knocked out, the fight was unbelievably dreadful even by heavyweight standards, and Rogan declared it the worst heavyweight bout ever. I’m sure fans are clamoring to re-watch Tim Sylviavs. Andrei Arlovski 3 to see if that statement holds up.
