The UFC’s next pay-per-view is exactly one month from today, and it features a pair of (interim) championship fights. In the main event, reigning men’s featherweight champion Max Holloway goes up to lightweight to take on Dustin Poirier for the interim strap, seven years removed from when Poirier tapped a debuting Holloway at UFC 143. As for the co-main, Kelvin Gastelum and Israel Adesanya vie for interim middleweight gold, with the winner expected to fight actual champion Robert Whittaker.

Alexander Gustafsson and Anthony Smith are both looking to rebound from their losses to Jon Jones, but only one man will emerge victorious at UFC on ESPN+ 10.

Gustafsson, who has failed to capture the UFC light heavyweight title on three separate occasions, was recently knocked out by Jon Jones at UFC 232. ‘The Mauler’ also dropped a highly contested decision to ‘Bones’ back in 2013.

Israel Adesanya has addressed recent comments from UFC middleweight champion Robert Whitakker in which he downplayed Adesanya’s abilities.

Whittaker took to his podcast to say he feels Adesanya isn’t as good as he thinks he is, something which “The Last Stylebender” hopes to disprove. Talking to Submission Radio recently, Adesanya discussed why Whittaker’s comments don’t affect him.

MMA Fighting’s Dave Meltzer reports that early PPV estimates for the March 2nd show, headlined by Jon Jones’ light heavyweight title defense triumph over Anthony Smith, ranges between 520,000 and 650,000 buys.
