Long before Cris "Cyborg" Justino was fighting in the UFC, she seemed like the ultimate test for former women's champion Ronda Rousey.
The fight was teased for years and even UFC president Dana White predicted that if "Cyborg" ever met Rousey in the Octagon that it would end up as the highest-selling pay-per-view of all time.
Rousey eventually met her match when she lost to Holly Holm last November in Australia while "Cyborg" finally made her UFC debut in May before another punishing performance on Saturday night to finish Lina Lansberg by TKO in the second round.
It's still nearly impossible for either woman to go very far without questions coming up about the potential super fight and "Cyborg" was once again asked about Rousey following her latest win.
"Cyborg" has stated numerous times that she's not going to lose sleep if the Rousey fight never comes together, but she also knows that it would be huge accolade to add to her resume while giving the fans a matchup they've always wanted to witness.
"I want Ronda to come back," Justino told FOX Sports after her latest win. "I think she should show people even when you lose, it's not the end of the world. You cannot give up."

Rousey has been rumored for a potential showdown with current women's bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 in December.
At this time, Rousey hasn't decided whether or not she'll accept the bout, but if she can come back with a win and take back the championship, a showdown with "Cyborg" would still be a monstrous fight for the UFC.
As for her own future with the promotion, "Cyborg" sounds ready to take a vacation following this latest fight before preparing for her return most likely in 2017.
For the second time in the past five months, "Cyborg" made the move down to 140 pounds, but it's a brutal and taxing weight cut that pushes her body to the brink.
If she's going to do it again, "Cyborg" says she need a little more incentive than another unranked opponent like Lansberg, who was making her UFC debut on Saturday night.
"Any of the (fighters) in the top 10 for a fight at 140, I can but it has to be top 10," Justino said in closing.
