Don’t be scared, homie.

Earlier this week, UFC lightweight standout Kevin Lee felt ‘disrespected’ by Jon Jones’ recent comments on his fashion sense and responded by challenging the light heavyweight champion to a fight.

“We can throw knuckles too, Jon,” Lee posted on Instagram.

It didn’t take long for Jones to reply, as the Jackson-Wink product issued a sarcastic apology and begged ‘The Motown Phenom’ not to beat him up.

Yo don’t beat me up bro, I’m sorry. My daughter really does have that jacket though @MoTownPhenom

“Yo don’t beat me up bro, I’m sorry,” Jones posted. “My daughter really does have that jacket though.”

A fight between Jones and Lee is highly unlikely to materalize for obvious reasons: Lee competes at lightweight and ‘Bones’ rules the light heavyweight division.

Lee, 26, last fought at UFC on FOX 31 back in December, dropping a unanimous decision to ‘Raging Al’ Iaquinta in the main event at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Following that loss and a slip down the UFC lightweight rankings, Lee hinted of a move up to the welterweight division, claiming that he could compete ‘very, very well’ at 170 lbs.

Jones, 31, returned to the Octagon in top form at UFC 232, dominating — and eventually finishing — Alexander Gustafsson to claim the vacant light heavyweight title. The three-time champion is expected to defend his title against Anthony Smith on March 2nd at UFC 235, although the bout hasn’t been made official. The PPV will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
