Dana White says Conor McGregor is ‘upset’ about losing, not about the post-fight brawl.

Conor McGregor didn’t participate in the UFC 229 post-fight press conference, but Dana White gave a brief update about his encounter with the Irishman after the fight. According to the UFC President, McGregor only cares about the loss, not the post-fight brawl, which is why he didn’t press charges.

“He didn’t care about the fight after. He was more concerned with the fight fight,” White said at the post-fight press conference (transcribed by Tim Bissell). “He said ‘listen man, I’m upset. I don’t give a shit about any of that, we don’t like each other.’

“You know he doesn’t like Khabib and the whole deal, but he didn’t press charges against him and the whole team. He doesn’t care about that. He cares that he lost the fight.”

According to White, the men who were initially arrested for their involvement were all released.

Khabib Nurmagomedov took the podium following the event. He apologized for his actions, but at the same time said that people are making too much of a big deal about it, saying McGregor has done a lot worse during the lead up.
