In what is up there in the most bizarre of call-outs, Sage Northcutt has challenged the YouTube superstar Logan Paul to a fight inside the Octagon.

Paul, who was an accomplished high school wrestler, recently fought to a majority draw in a white-collar amateur boxing match against fellow YouTube star, KSI. The event, which streamed live on YouTube as a PPV costing viewers just short of $10, was thought to be one of the biggest boxing PPV’s of the year, with the event reportedly pulling in at least 784,000 viewers.

A few days after his blockbuster fight, Paul took to social media to discuss the possibility of setting up a fight in the UFC. What many fight fans didn’t anticipate was that Sage Northcutt would reply to Paul the following day, asking the internet celebrity when he wants to “catch these hands.”

“Super Sage” didn’t stop there, as he continued his call-out of Paul by getting the final say in the conversation, and making us actually question if a fight with Northcutt and Paul might actually take place in the octagon one day.

Northcutt (11-2) has improved on a shaky start to his UFC career by going unbeaten in his last three fights. His most recent victory was a second-round knockout of Zak Ottow at UFC Boise in July. Paul (0-0) has never competed in MMA as a professional or an amateur.
