Tatiana Suarez submitted Alexa Grasso in the first round of the UFC Chile co-main event.
The UFC Chile co-main event witnessed the promotion’s #12 strawweight Tatiana Suarez submit the #9 Alexa Grasso in the opening round. Suarez wasted no time in closing the distance, and dragging the fight down to the ground. Grasso did her best to defend, but once she gave up her back, it was only a matter of time. Suarez picks up another submission win inside of the UFC and moves to a perfect 6-0 overall. Having just beat the promotion’s #9 strawweight, you have to think that Suarez has set herself to receive another top ranked opponent in her next outing.

Suarez secured a head and arm throw early in the fight, and kept the distance closed. Grasso exposed her back, and Suarez quickly locked up an RNC. After a bit of defending, the choke proved to be too much and Grasso was forced to tap.
