Featherweights Dennis Bermudez and Rick Glenn will fight each other at UFC Fight Night in Boise, Idaho.

Faced with an arguable must-win situation, longtime featherweight contender Dennis Bermudezhas his next fight lined up. Newsday’s Mark Lamonica reported on Friday that the New Yorker is set to fight Rick Glenn on the UFC’s debut card in Idaho this July.

Bermudez (16-8) is on a three-fight losing streak, which started with a KO at the hands of Chan Sung Jung, then was followed up by split decisions against Darren Elkins and Andre Fili. The Ultimate Fighter season 14 runner-up once racked up a seven-fight winning streak, only for Ricardo Lamas to snap that with a first-round finish. His last win was a unanimous decision over Rony Jason in August 2016.

Glenn (20-5-1) is the former World Series of Fighting featherweight champion who made his UFC debut as a lightweight, losing to Evan Dunham on short notice. “The Gladiator” immediately dropped back down to 145, where he edged out Phillipe Nover on the scorecards, then completely dominated Canadian prospect Gavin Tucker. Glenn’s last outing saw him get shut down at UFC 219 by Myles Jury, as Jury won a comfortable decision.

UFC Fight Night: Boise is set for Saturday, July 14th at CenturyLink Arena. The main card airs live on FS1 and features a five-round heavyweight main event between Junior dos Santos and Blagoy Ivanov.
