Report: Jim Miller takes on Francisco Trinaldo at UFC Sao Paulo

Lightweights Jim Miller and Francisco Trinaldo will square off in October.

A pair of lightweight veterans are headed to Brazil, as Combate reported Jim Miller will take on Francisco Trinaldo at the upcoming UFC Fight Night 119, in Sao Paulo.

Jim Miller (28-10, 1 NC)) will try and snap a two-fight losing skid, which consists of decision losses to Anthony Pettis and Dustin Poirier. His last win came in November 2016, when he bested Thiago Alves via unanimous decision. Miller has never suffered three consecutive defeats in his entire career.

Francisco Trinaldo (21-5) was on a seven-fight win streak with wins over some notable names, such as Paul Felder and Ross Pearson, before being stopped by Kevin Lee via submission, in March 2017. This will now be his first fight after suffering the loss. Hist most recent victory came via cuts stoppage TKO over Paul Felder, in September 2016.

UFC Fight Night: Sao Paulo will be headlined by middleweights Lyoto Machida and Derek Brunson. Fox Sports 1 will televise the night’s main card action.
