Rory MacDonald sends a chilling message to Douglas Lima and the rest of the Bellator welterweight contenders.

He might be called 'The Red King', but Rory MacDonald is building a reputation as 'The Canadian Psycho'.

MacDonald, who made his Bellator debut earlier this year with a second round submission over the heavy hitting Paul Daley, joined the broadcast team for last night's Bellator 180 pay-per-view at Madison Square Garden in New York.

The 27-year-old had some haunting words for Bellator welterweight champion Douglas Lima and the rest of the contenders, vowing to make a graveyard of their bodies.

“I was really underwhelmed,” MacDonald said of Lima's welterweight title defense against Lorenz Larkin on the main card (h/t Marc Raimondi of MMA Fighting). “I was expecting a good fight. I had a lot of excitement going into this fight. Larkin is an excellent fighter. If these guys think they’re keeping a belt fighting like that against me, it’s not gonna happen. I’m gonna take these guys out. They’re just gonna be another body in the grave.”

Lima, 29, won the 170-pound championship last year and told MacDonald to 'come get it' after his unanimous decision win over Larkin.

MacDonald, who is widely considered one of the best welterweight talents in MMA, is likely to challenge Lima for the title later this year and told 'The Phenom' that he's going to 'bury' him.

"This is the next chapter in my career,” MacDonald said. “I’m not playing games anymore. I’m coming forward, I’m doing my style now. I’m not playing games. I’m not point fighting anymore. I’m there to take you out. I’m hunting you down, and I’m gonna bury you and that’s it.”

MacDonald, who was formerly ranked as a top 3 UFC welterweight, will probably face off with Lima sometime in the fall.
