Far Eastern University-Diliman continued its unbeaten run after turning back De La Salle-Zobel, 22-25, 25-8, 25-15, 25-21, in the UAAP Season 82 Boys' Volleyball tournament Saturday at the Paco Arena.

The Baby Tamaraws rebounded from an opening set loss by stepping up their game in the next three to post their eighth straight win.

"Masyadong relax yung mga bata sa umpisa kaya kailangan naming ayusin yun sa ensayo. Inadjust namin yung receive namin nung second to fourth set kaya nakabawi," said FEU coach Rjhay Del Rosario.

Jerold Talisayan unloaded 15 points on 11 attacks and four blocks while Angelo Lipata and Rans Cajolo each poured 14 markers

Simon Encarnacion and Jhon Lituania had eight points apiece as the Junior Green Spikers stayed winless in nine outings.

Nathaniel Del Pilar had six blocks to finished with 19 points as Adamson University downed University of Santo Tomas, 23-25, 29-27, 26-24, 25-22, to extend its winning run to three games.

Evander Novillo scored all but one of his 17 points from spikes, John Gay got 15 points, and Jefferson Marapoc displayed an all-around game with 13 points, 18 receptions and eight digs as the Baby Falcons tied the Tiger Cubs in third place at 5-4.

"Sinabi ko lang na kahit anong mangyari, lamang man ang UST, gawin natin ang trabaho natin sa loob, composure lang saka yung mental toughness natin dapat hindi nawawala," Adamson University coach Marvin Ramoso said.

Jay Rack Dela Noche paced the Tiger Cubs with 22 points while Alexander Iraya added eight markers and 27 excellent receptions.

In the other match, University of the East routed Ateneo, 25-14, 25-17. 25-15, for a 8-1 card.

Joshua Espenida delivered 11 points in just two sets of action, while Tristan Molina and Francis Babon had six apiece for the Junior Warriors.

Action resumes with two games on Wednesday at the same Paco venue.
