PTT Thai racer joins PH drift tournament

A Thai racer will see action in the King of Nations Philippines 2018 (KONPH2018), the final round of the King of Nations Asia ProSeries 2018, to be held May 25 to 27, at the Clark International Speedway.

Carrying the flag of Thailand’s PTT RD-2 Drift Team, the 24-year-old Wuttitat “Keng” Pankumnerd came from his recent first runnerup and second runnerup finishes during the Round 3 and 4, respectively, of the Thailand leg of the drifting competition.

Known as “The Little Wizard”, Keng is known for his passion and aggressive style, traits that brought him to the podium in the Thailand leg using his Retro car Toyota KE30 with a 2JZ turbo engine 700 HP.

The PTT drifter is one of the highly anticipated racers to dominate the tarmac in the final leg this weekend.

He will be pitted against some of the world’s best drifters that include Charles Ng of Hong Kong, Daigo Saito, Hirohide Tanaka, Keiichiro Kadekaru, and Toni “HalfBreeds” Arakaki of Japan, and Nasser Almutairi of Kuwait.

Some of the finest professional Filipino talents like the gutsy 19-year-old Luis Gono, veteran David Feliciano, king of bodykits Atoy Llave and Gabe Tayao will also compete in this biggest and most highly anticipated international drifting championship in the world.

Updates on the event will be posted on Facebook account of PTT Philippines and PTT Lubricants PH. For updates about Keng, you may also follow him on PTT Motor Sports Facebook account or at his Instagram kengptt65.
