TNT star Terrence Romeo was shipped yesterday to San Miguel Beer in exchange for reserve guard Brian Heruela, David Semerad and the Beermen’s first-round draft pick in 2020.

Marcial said the league’s five-man trade committee is evaluating all trade proposals, including another trade deal by SMB that will have Blackwater rising star Paul Zamar being reunited with his father Boycie, an assistant coach with the Beermen.

The Elite will get two future second-round picks in exchange for Zamar, who is coming off a breakout season.
If the PBA approves the deal, San Miguel will be Romeo’s third team in six seasons. NorthPort (formerly GlobalPort) originally selected Romeo during the 2013 Rookie Draft with the fifth overall pick.

After four seasons, Romeo was shipped to TNT for Moala Tautuaa in what was allegedly sparked by a conflict with NorthPort head coach Pido Jarencio.
