Two-time defending champions Brgy. Ginebra made quick work of no. 8 NLEX Tuesday, taking a 111-75 win in the 2018 PBA Governors' Cup quarterfinals.
The top-seeded Gin Kings advance and will meet rival Magnolia in the next round.
"I thought we did pretty much what we wanted to do throughout the game except that we came out flat in the second half and they made a nice run at us," head coach Tim Cone said.
Ginebra got the better of Magnolia in their elimination tiff, but coach Chito Victolero will have plenty of chances to make adjustments in their upcoming best-of-five semis affair.
