The PBA maintained that San Miguel import Kevin Murphy committed a flagrant foul during his on-court skirmish with Phoenix’s Calvin Abueva last Friday at MOA Arena.
This means that the flagrant foul penalty 1 on Murphy stays, according to the league. Murphy likewise was fined P5,000 for the infraction.

Abueva was also meted a P10,000 fine for flashing a dirty finger in Phoenix's matches against NLEX and San Miguel, respectively.

Nine other members of Phoenix, including coach Louie Alas, were each slapped with a P5,000 fine for for entering the court during the altercation.
